Duties
- Prepare and bake a wide range of products including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Decorate donuts and other baked goods with artistic flair to enhance presentation.
- Ensure all food preparation meets safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes and menu items.
- Manage inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Package finished products for display or delivery while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness in the baking area and adhere to all health regulations.
- Able to lift over 25lbs.
Experience
- Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Skills in pastry decorating and creative presentation are highly desirable.
- Experience in customer service within the food industry is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- A culinary degree or certification related to baking is an advantage but not required.
