Millwright Supervisor

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

A Millwright supervisor will assist and be part of planning and coordinating with our on-site team as required to install turnkey mechanical equipment systems on active construction sites and operating facilities. Perform high quality project instillations while maintaining strict safety standards. Possess an applicable ability to manage workers and customer relations. Ability to read, comprehend and implement Engineered Design drawings for the purpose of Machine installation, machine modification and install of complex piping and mechanical systems. Must be able to perform work safely and accurately under tight time constraints in ever changing environments

Reports To: Project Manager / Team

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• · Strong understanding of industry standards and practices

· Ability to coordinate with Customers and Vendors daily for the purpose of maintaining an efficient flow of required materials and data tracking to meet required schedules

· Prior experience in a supervisory position 2-3 years

· Ability to perform critical thinking and decision making

· Posses the knowledge to perform complex machine layouts and alignments of components to include but not limited to “Machine Bases, Pump Skids, Drive Shafts, Pumps and Motor Couplings, Drive Sheaves and belts”

· Ability to coach subordinates and train on the fly while efficiently completing tasks

· Maintain and uphold a safe and healthy working environment

· Able to make custom modifications and adaptations in the field per customer directives

· Install new machinery and equipment

· Perform routine maintenance on equipment

· Troubleshoot and repair defective machine parts

· Relocate machinery on- and off-site

· Collaborate with construction workers, engineers, and other tradespeople

· Certification as a Millwright based on national standards a Plus

· Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

· Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

· Familiarity with construction equipment and machinery

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Requirements - 4-5 years of experience as a Millwright or in a similar role
• High school diploma, GED, trade school.
• Have a working knowledge of the materials and the installation of each found in the mechanical construction industry.
• Able to work min 40hrs/week and weekends when needed.
• Possess a valid driver's license.

Pay: From $34.00 per hour
