REPORTS TO:
Director of Retail / Retail Manager
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To support the daily retail operations of the Golf Shop and assist in delivering a high-quality member experience.
CLASSIFICATION:
Part-Time / Hourly
DEPARTMENT:
Golf Operations – Retail
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with basic merchandising tasks, including maintaining clean, organized, and visually appealing displays for soft goods and hard goods.
- Support inventory processes by helping with receiving, tagging, stocking, and organizing merchandise.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of retail areas, stockrooms, and storage spaces.
- Provide friendly, service-driven engagement with members and guests.
- Assist with executing seasonal promotions, new product launches, and shop refreshes.
- Support special orders by helping collect details, processing items, and ensuring timely follow-up.
- Assist with tournament merchandise setup and sales as needed.
- Help ensure proper inventory procedures are followed.
- Communicate product questions, member requests, and inventory needs to the Director of Retail.
- Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Previous retail or customer-service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable learning POS systems and basic computer functions.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Weekend and occasional evening availability.
- Positive and professional attitude.
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 18.0 per week
