Job Overview
We are seeking motivated, hardworking individuals to join our team as Painters. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who are willing to work outdoors, take pride in their work, and put in consistent effort to deliver high-quality results. No prior experience is required—comprehensive training will be provided through Sherwin-Williams. This position offers full-time hours, opportunities for performance-based bonuses and raises, and valuable experience in residential and commercial painting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, caulking, and priming to ensure proper paint adhesion
- Apply paint, stain, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment to achieve smooth, even coverage
- Work on a variety of projects including residential homes and light commercial properties
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard
- Communicate effectively with other painters and clients when needed
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and put in consistent effort
- Reliable transportation to job sites in and around the Viroqua area
- Availability to work approximately 40 hours per week
- No prior experience required—training will be provided
