Payroll Specialist

SUMMARY: The Payroll Specialist will aid in all aspects involving Payroll.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Personally exhibits, recruits and coaches associates consistent with Core Behaviors
• Responsible for promoting culture of safety
• Inputs data as needed into ADP payroll system to process payroll on a bi-weekly basis for

approximately 600 employees by due date

• Processes commission payments, maintain commission records
• Processes and review expense reimbursements for Concur
• Responsible for balancing payroll runs, producing federal, state and local tax payments
• Compile payroll data such as garnishments, vacation time, insurance and 401(k) deductions
• Handles all payroll transactions
• Payroll Tax Compliance
• Extensive knowledge of tax system and law
• ADP Payroll System
• ADP Time and Attendance System
• Reviews time and attendance data and ensures all electronic timecards have been approved before

processing payroll.

• Ensures all employee changes are processed efficiently and accurately
• Responsible for coordinating W2 filing and forms
• Compile internal management reports from payroll system software
• Answers employee questions and troubleshooting issues
• Handle all work in accordance to ISO

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Has knowledge and experience working with taxes and payroll

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• No direct supervisory responsibility.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Associates degree or equivalent experience required
• 5 years of experience processing multi-state, multi-jurisdiction payroll
• ADP experience preferred

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• CPP preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Employee is regularly required to speak and understand English, stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger,

handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. Employee is required to use

computer and other equipment.

• Employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to _25_ pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision

and the ability to clearly focus vision.
