Job Overview
Blackhawk Engineering LLC is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join or growing team. In this role you will operate conventional, special-purpose, and CNC/NC machining centers to cut, shape, and form metal components. The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for machine operation, quality assurance, and inspection of finished parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload workpieces using hoist and hand tools; secure parts according to documented instructions.
- Verify dimensions and alignment of finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and specialty gauges.
- Clean finished parts using industrial washing equipment; perform deburring tasks using files, die grinders, and hand grinders.
- Stack finished components on pallets or place in tubs for further processing.
Qualifications
- Prior machining or CNC experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints preferred
Schedule
- 4-day workweek
- 10-hour shifts
- Monday 7:15pm - Friday 5:15 am
- 40 hours per week with possible mandatory overtime
Pay: $19.95 - $24.25 per hour
