The Senior Project Manager is responsible for ensuring high quality products and services that are delivered according to the agreed schedule and budget of the applicable task/delivery order. This individual will ensure that projects under the program are delivered on time, within scope and within budget. May be responsible to review projects across program for consistency with program objectives. May assist with or advise on development of new programs.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience.
- Must be familiar with Patient Centered Care culture in healthcare.
- Must have experience working with commercial or hospital systems in master or strategic planning.
- Must have experience leading and managing teams.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook) is required.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Revit are beneficial but not required.
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
- Qualified candidates shall have received an annual seasonal influenza vaccination, or obtain an exemption for medical or religious reasons, prior to start of work.

- Develop project charter.
- Plan mobilization of project.
- Develop plans of action and milestones.
- Write formal report summarizing findings for assessment of current state of hospital support, laydown, and space.
- Provide responses to calls and emails from VALB PM for tasks and requests for information (RFIs).
- Attend VALB Clinical Planning Meetings.
- Write a formal report of findings on what VALB's priorities should be over the next 15years.
- Read through VALB Master Plan and document areas/priorities that may have changed based on Current State of Hospital Report.
- Participate in scoping sessions for future planning requirements to determine what changes will be made.
- Based on the hospital service inputs and draft plan of action, finalize the plan of action for the best way to achieve the objectives.
- Summarize the recommended projects and large space moves over the next 15 years.
- Present recommended changes to the VALB Master Plan to leadership.
- Assess the scope and impact of the Deep Dive. Lead the working groups to help PMs develop the plan for the Deep Dive. Based on the requirements, identify what key areas may require subject matter expertise to complete the project properly (Deep Dives). Ensure that we have identified SMEs along with availability. For each Deep Dive, provide monthly progress updates which include formal documentation of work done and verbal updates.
- Put together visualization products and briefs for varying levels of leadership, including VALB Executive Leadership, VISN (Veteran's Integrated Service Network), national VA leadership, non-government organizations, and political leadership. Integrate with VALB Public Affairs and develop short- and long-term communications strategy to properly publicize projects.
- Review assessments and recommendations in accordance with Federal Regulations and Standards and verify compliance.
- Performs other duties as needed.
- Work is primarily performed in an office environment.
