Project Engineer
We are seeking a Project Engineer to support the construction team on a major capital project. The successful candidate will provide project coordination, reporting, and administrative support, helping ensure activities are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
This role would suit an individual with broad project engineering experience gained within an EPCM, engineering consultancy, or major construction environment. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Power BI, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the construction and project management teams with day-to-day project coordination activities.
- Develop and maintain project reports, dashboards, and performance metrics using Excel and Power BI.
- Track project progress, action items, risks, and key deliverables.
- Assist with schedule monitoring, document control, meeting coordination, and project communications.
- Produce weekly and monthly project performance reports.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, and project controls teams to ensure alignment across project activities.
- Support cost, schedule, and progress reporting requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in project reporting and data management processes.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer on large-scale industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience working for an EPCM, engineering consultancy, or contractor environment preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced project environment.
