Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Bakery Assistant located in Atlanta, GA. The Bakery Assistant will be responsible for supporting daily baking operations, including food preparation, cake decorating, and assisting in the production of baked goods. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness in the workspace, ensuring food safety, and providing exceptional customer service when interacting with clients or assisting with catering preparations.
Qualifications
- Experience in Baking and Food Preparation, with a commitment to vegan and plant-based recipes
- Knowledge and skills in Cake Decorating and attention to detail
- Strong Customer Service abilities, including communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness, follow food safety regulations, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in a bakery or commercial kitchen is a plus
- Passion for plant-based cuisine and sustainable practices is highly desirable
