JOB SUMMARY
The Financial Analyst is responsible for conducting special projects and providing support involving operational & financial analysis including cost management. There will also be some day-to-day financial tasks supporting the Financial Director. This role primarily gathers data, performs analysis, and makes recommendations to improve the business. This person will reach across the organization to improve all parts of the organization through review and analysis. The position will report to a member of the Blackeagle Leadership Team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform Analysis and Present findings as directed by management.
- Play a key role in the determination and rollout of new programs within the company.
- Perform research and present SWOT Reviews.
- Custodian of the company’s Strategic Plan.
- Review and import project budgets into the ERP system.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of projected final costs and revenue each month.
- Manage contract change orders and ensure accurate revenue recognition.
- Monitor project forecast trends for major projects.
- Oversee project setup and closeout procedures, ensuring all purchase orders and contracts are properly initiated and closed.
- Provide financial performance analysis and productivity assessments for project managers and division leaders.
- Understand customer billing systems and troubleshoot billing-related issues.
- Provide miscellaneous project cost and contract assistance as needed.
- Act as a backup administrator for other projects and accounting as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in a construction or project-based environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications including advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- General accounting/Finance knowledge and familiarity with ERP systems (Vista, JobBOSS, Track, B2W, Power BI preferred).

The expected compensation range is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Final compensation is based on factors such as education, experience, and other qualifications
