Job Overview:

We are seeking an optimistic and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious coffee and other beverages. Previous barista experience is not required. If you have a passion for connecting with people above all, we can teach you the rest.

Duties:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks

- Take customer orders and ensure accuracy in preparation

- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, such as Square POS, to process payments

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area

- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of food and beverages

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns

- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours

- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Qualifications:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a team-oriented setting

- Previous experience as a Barista is a plus, but not required. Willing to teach the right candidate!

- Knowledge of retail math and cash handling procedures

- Familiarity with Square POS or similar Point of Sale systems is a plus

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Basic math skills for cash handling purposes
