The Tennis Pro is responsible for enhancing the Blackberry Farm and Blackberry Mountain tennis and pickleball programs through guest engagement, instruction, and support of daily operations. This role provides instruction while assisting the Adventure Manager with program oversight as needed.
The pay rate for this position is $25.00 per hour.

Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following and other duties as assigned:
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Support daily operations and lesson execution in coordination with the Adventure Manager
- Assist with staffing coordination, training, guest requests, and interdepartmental communications
- Monitor lesson schedules and program activities across both properties
- Instruct guests of all skill levels in tennis and pickleball lessons and gameplan
- Assess guest skill level and tailor instruction to meet individual needs and expectations
- Provide guidance on technique, equipment selection, and safe play practices
- Maintain and purchase program equipment as needed
- Monitor court conditions and coordinate maintenance with appropriate teams or vendors
- Engage with guests through lessons, events, and general interaction
- Answer questions and provide guidance related to tennis, pickleball, and programming
- Share information about additional property activities and experiences

EDUCATION And EXPERIENCE
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must be able to communicate with guests, team members, and managers effectively
- Must interact extensively with guests
- Basic knowledge and understanding of math
- Ability to resolve guest concerns related to tennis and pickleball programming
- Exercise sound judgment aligned with company goals
- Assess conditions to ensure a safe and positive guest experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to be on feet most or all of the shift and of proper fitness
- Must be able to operate a company vehicle or golf cart safely
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
- 4,200 acres of Blackberry Farm property, 5,500 acres of Blackberry Mountain property
