What You’ll Be Doing
As a Line Cook at Blackbeard's, you’ll play a vital role in delivering the high-quality dining experience our guests know and love. Your day-to-day will include:
- Preparing and cooking menu items to Blackbeard’s standards.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation.
- Following recipes, portioning, and presentation guidelines with consistency.
- Setting up and stocking stations before service, and restocking as needed.
- Communicating clearly with servers, expo, and fellow cooks to ensure smooth service.
- Ensuring food quality, freshness, and proper holding temperatures.
- Operating fryers, flat tops, ovens, and other kitchen equipment safely.
- Assisting with prep work, labeling, and storage.
- Handling rush periods with speed, accuracy, and a positive attitude.
- Following all food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Completing opening, mid-shift, and closing duties as assigned.
