Role: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment.
Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
Assess patient conditions, monitor cardiac telemetry, administer medications, prepare patients for procedures, document care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage multiple patients, ensure infection control, advocate for patients, facilitate discharge planning, and adhere to safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills: Require at least one year of recent Med Surg RN experience, valid RN license, current BLS certification. Preferred certifications include NIHSS and ACLS. Must demonstrate critical thinking, excellent communication, physical and motor skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Key Duties: Explain procedures, monitor patient responses, maintain safety and comfort, document care, support interdisciplinary collaboration, and ensure regulatory compliance.
