Role: The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) provides critical care to patients in high-acuity environments, assessing, monitoring, and operating advanced life support equipment.
Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments, administer complex medications, manage life-support devices, document interventions, and collaborate with healthcare teams. Ensure patient safety, provide education, adhere to infection control protocols, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires at least one year of recent ICU experience, valid RN license, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Preferred certifications include CCRN, TNCC, and NIHSS. Must demonstrate critical thinking, strong communication, technical proficiency, physical endurance, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Key Duties: Monitor critically ill patients, operate advanced equipment, respond to changes in patient conditions, document accurately, and support emotional and physical needs. Maintain proficiency in procedures, follow safety protocols, and contribute to team efforts.
