Role: Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating safe, patient-centered care across various settings.
Responsibilities: Administer medications safely, prepare and educate patients undergoing chemotherapy, coordinate care schedules, and instruct patients and families on post-treatment care. Assist in staff and student education on chemotherapy safety, central line care, and perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications: Current Wyoming RN licensure, BLS certification, nursing degree (BSN preferred), and chemotherapy certification within three months. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) required, with minimum one year of acute care experience preferred.
Skills & Requirements: Ability to respond quickly to patient condition changes, communicate effectively with healthcare team, adhere to safety protocols, and handle potential exposure to hazardous materials. Pre-employment drug screening is required.
