Medical Assistant (Bilingual Spanish)

We are seeking a dedicated Bilingual Spanish Medical Assistant to join our Pediatric Center in Hempstead, NY. In this vital role, you will assist healthcare providers in delivering high-quality pediatric care, ensuring a positive patient experience.

• Perform patient intake, including vital signs, medical history, and reason for visit, while effectively communicating in both English and Spanish.
• Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure a clean, safe environment for patients.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures, providing necessary tools and support.
• Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and follow-up care in a compassionate manner.
• Manage appointment scheduling, patient records, and documentation accurately using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Address patient inquiries and coordinate communication between patients and healthcare team members.
