The Endocrinology Physician provides expert care for patients with glandular and metabolic disorders, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team including nurses, physician assistants, dieticians, surgeons, and pharmacists.
Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume practice, seeing approximately 18-20 patients daily.
- Coordinate treatment plans for endocrine diseases and promote prevention strategies.
- Work closely with specialized teams such as Diabetes Management and surgical colleagues.
- Maintain comprehensive patient care with clinical expertise and leadership skills.
- Medical degree from an accredited institution and completion of Internal Medicine residency.
- Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
- Board certification or eligibility from the American Board of Internal Medicine and subspecialty certification in Endocrinology.
- Expertise in endocrine diagnoses, obesity, and metabolic syndrome preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and independent clinical performance.
