Position: Manufacturing Design Drafter
Job Description: The primary responsibility of the Manufacturing Design Drafter is to work directly with the Design Engineering team to over see production processes in a organized, timely and efficient manner. They are required to draft/design farm equipment, trailers and a variety of projects in steel, aluminum and stainless steel. They will oversee company designs in production and make adjustments and corrections as needed.
Essential Duties:
·Working directly with the Drafting and Engineering team to ensure that customers receive quality products.
-Design, Drafting, proofing for custom trailers, farm implements, and custom parts.
-Help to maintain production schedule to meet due dates and deadlines.
-Oversee use of production material in a cost effective manner
Requirements:
·Bachelor’s degree or 2 years work place experience, Drafting Manufacturing Process Engineering or related field preferred. We are willing to train the right person. 3D CAD Design software e.g.,
2 years SolidWorks and Autodesk experience REQUIRED. Proficient math & measuring skills required. Excellent communications skills, organizational, multi-tasking skills and the ability to follow directions required. Experience in metal fabrication is highly desired. Dependable, punctual and hardworking.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
