Responsibilities

- Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, caterers, and entertainment providers to secure the best terms and value.
- Coordinate all event details including venue selection, catering arrangements, décor, entertainment, and technical requirements.
- Manage budgets meticulously, tracking expenses and optimizing resources to maximize event impact while controlling costs.
- Oversee event marketing efforts to promote events effectively through various channels and attract target audiences.
- Execute event setup and breakdown efficiently, ensuring all elements are in place for a seamless experience.
- Provide exceptional guest services during events, addressing any issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Upsell additional services or packages to clients during planning stages or at the event itself to enhance revenue opportunities.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, vendors, and team members throughout the planning process to ensure alignment.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement for future events.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in event planning or management within hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or banquet environments.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable contracts and vendor agreements.

- Demonstrated ability in upselling services or products to increase revenue streams.
