Membership Specialist

Job Overview

We are looking for a friendly, confident, and motivated Membership Specialist to help grow our unlimited wash club and provide excellent customer service.

The right person will have a bubbly, outgoing personality and genuinely enjoy talking with people. They must be comfortable starting conversations, explaining membership options, completing sign-ups, and working toward sales goals without pressuring or misleading customers.

Previous sales experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude
• Start conversations with customers about our wash club
• Clearly explain membership prices, benefits, and terms
• Help customers select the membership that best fits their needs
• Complete membership sign-ups accurately
• Confirm customer, vehicle, license plate, and payment information
• Explain billing dates, automatic renewals, and cancellation policies
• Help existing members with basic account questions
• Update payment methods, vehicle information, or license plates
• Help resolve membership problems or involve a manager when needed
• Promote available upgrades, discounts, and special offers
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly membership goals
• Track personal sales and report results to management
• Follow up with interested customers when appropriate
• Help reduce cancellations by addressing customer concerns
• Provide honest and accurate information
• Never pressure, mislead, or sign up a customer without clear permission
• Protect customer payment and personal information
• Keep the membership area and sales materials clean and organized
• Learn all wash packages, membership levels, and available services
• Assist at the pay station or other customer-service areas when needed
• Support the rest of the car wash team during busy periods
• Follow all company policies and manager instructions

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience is required
• Customer-service, retail, hospitality, membership, or car wash experience is preferred
• Basic computer, tablet, and point-of-sale skills
• Ability to learn membership and payment systems
• Ability to clearly explain prices and membership terms
• Basic math and money-handling skills
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Ability to communicate professionally in person and by phone
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required

Physical and Scheduling Requirements

• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Able to work in indoor and outdoor customer-service areas
• Comfortable working in hot, cold, wet, windy, or snowy conditions
• Able to use a tablet, computer, pay station, or point-of-sale system
• Flexible availability based on business needs
• Weekend and holiday availability may be required

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
