Position Summary
Responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals. Ensures that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
As part of the PTS/R technology team providing services to internal clients, the duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serve as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Will not have direct reports; may provide technical leadership on projects and direct activities of a team related to projects.
- Collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software applications.
- Be routinely accountable for technical knowledge and capabilities.
- Work with minimal supervision, receiving general guidance from more seasoned team members.
- Interpret business requirements into design solutions and understand design and development across the project lifecycle.
- Create and maintain system, functional, and reference documentation.
- Provide support during testing phases as required; analyze and recommend bug fixes for production incidents and perform performance tuning.
- Report root causes of incidents and recommend preventive measures to avoid future occurrences.
