What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Principal (Anticipated) position at Black Rock Middle School?
Lower Merion School District is seeking an outstanding school leader within its organization: Middle School Principal at Black Rock Middle School. The Principal is an instructional leader who champions an environment of inclusivity and belonging, facilitates positive employee relations, and promotes an organizational culture of success for all students and staff. In support of school and district leadership, the Principal is responsible for overall school management, health and safety, student activities and services, community relations, personnel, and curriculum/instruction. Working with staff, families, and students, the Principal establishes the goals of the school and identifying objectives for instructional and extracurricular programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- PA Certification as a Secondary Principal or Principal K-12
- Prior administrative experience required; secondary experience preferred
- Demonstrated success as an educational leader
- Knowledge of curriculum, instruction and assessment and PA Standards
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, parents, other administrators, and community members
- Knowledge of Special Education and serving as a Special Education LEA
