We’re currently seeking a skilled, compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our Surgical Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys surgical nursing, anesthesia monitoring, and working as part of a collaborative medical team.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with a wide range of surgical procedures—from routine spays and neuters to complex orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries
- Perform anesthesia induction and monitoring, including advanced cases
- Prepare surgical suites, instruments, and patients in accordance with best practices
- Provide excellent post-operative care and monitoring
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with client communication as needed
- Support a positive and efficient team environment, with a focus on patient safety and comfort
Qualifications
- Credentialed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT) or experience equivalent
- Prior experience in a surgical or anesthesia-focused role
- Strong technical skills, particularly in anesthesia and patient monitoring
- Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a calm, professional demeanor
- A commitment to ongoing learning and a passion for patient care
