We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter/Blaster to join our team. This role involves working in outdoor and industrial environments, with a focus on blasting and coating pipe, fittings, valves, flanges, and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the pipeline or heavy industrial construction industry, knowledge of surface preparation and industrial coatings, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform abrasive blasting and industrial coating applications on pipe, fittings, valves, flanges, and structural components.
Prepare surfaces according to industry standards (NACE/SSPC) prior to coating.
Mix, apply, and spray industrial coatings using spray pots and other coating equipment.
Safely operate and maintain blasting and painting equipment, including diesel-powered compressors and spray systems.
Ensure coatings are applied to specified thicknesses and quality standards.
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and industrial settings.
Follow company, client, and OSHA safety protocols at all times. Pref familiae with training and ProMetric testing for gas companies. Trainining booklets are provided to take tests to work on sites.
Maintain equipment and materials in good working order.
Document work performed and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Qualifications:
Previous industrial painting/blasting experience (pipeline, oil & gas, or heavy industrial construction preferred).
Familiarity with blasting media, multi layer coating systems, and application techniques.
Ability to operate spray pots, spray guns, and diesel-powered compressors.
OSHA 10/30 training preferred.
Any prior pipeline or gas construction training a plus.
Strong focus on safety and ability to work in outdoor environments.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces or at heights if required.
Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
