Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
.• Provide administrative support to teachers, staff, and building administration.
• Maintain accurate student attendance records using the student information system, Infinite Campus.
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding attendance concerns and promote positive attendance habits.
• Prepare and distribute attendance correspondence and related documentation.
• Maintain confidential student records in compliance with legal requirements and district policies.
• Receive and route incoming calls in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
• Process student information updates in Infinite Campus.
• Maintain visitor logs and oversee student sign-in/sign-out procedures.
• Assist with preparing and distributing school newsletters and communications.
• Contact parents or guardians regarding student illness, injury, or emergencies as needed
• Collect required volunteer documentation and facilitate volunteer background checks.
• Assist in developing and implementing effective office procedures
• Organize and support daily main office operations to ensure an efficient and welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with office personnel to maintain smooth and efficient district operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written expression.
• Demonstrate unwavering confidentiality at all times according to the FERPA and HIPPAA guidelines.
• Reputation for sound interpersonal skills.
• Exemplary work habits verified by previous employer.
• Strong Computer skills in data processing, spreadsheets, databases, and research.
• Solid record of punctuality.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED (general educational development) diploma; college degree preferred
* Demonstrate knowledge, skills and abilities gained from office experience
* PC keyboard skills required; must be conversant with computerized data entry and retrieval. Operates standard office equipment
* Excellent communication and phone skills and ability to handle difficult office situations
* Must pass pre-employment criminal history background check
