The Technician performs cleaning, disinfecting, minor maintenance, and repair duties of the buildings and grounds at all organizational locations. Primarily, a housekeeping position and assists with physical building security. The position available is:
- Part-time, up to 39 hours per pay period, non-benefited. M-F from 7 am – 10:30 am
Essential Duties Include:
- Cleans and disinfects various areas of all BRH facilities, such as surgery, delivery, exam, and patient rooms, along with isolation and O.R. rooms, following a specific set of protocols for the area.
- Replenishes supplies as needed throughout the facility, including restrooms, patient rooms, housekeeping carts, etc.
- Performs Environmental Services preventative maintenance (PMs) and minor repairs to equipment and to the facility's interior and exterior as assigned and scheduled.
Assists the Facilities and Environmental Services team members in all areas of the organization, including, but not limited to, laundry duties, snow removal, aiding at the helipad with safely landing helicopters, securing the helipad, transporting and moving patients within the facility, waste disposal, and tracking requirements.
Educational Qualifications:
- Experience and/or training in housekeeping, laundry, painting, hand tools, preventive maintenance, equipment, buildings, and grounds
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Computer Programs
- Must be English literate and possess basic math skills
- May Require a valid Wisconsin Driver's License
- Participation in the CHEST (Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Technician) Certification Program
