What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mill Operator position at Black River Commodities LLC?
Candidate is responsible for operating Rice Mill equipment which includes setup, operation and cleanup of machinery. Perform quality checks during production in order to provide the highest quality product with the least amount of waste.
Duties include:
- Maintains and cleans mill area and equipment.
- Disassembles and cleans machines as required.
- Perform light maintenance on equipment.
- Keeps equipment & work area clean.
- Cleans and inspects magnets. Maintains records and documentation of inspections.
- Works in a safe manner and complies with company policies.
- Maintains good manufacturing practices.
Qualification:
- Have at least 1 year experience with machinery and proven trouble shooting skills.
- Willingness and ability to work in a team environment.
- Forklift operating experience a plus.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime when needed.
- Willingness and ability to work during a scheduled off time for emergency situations.
