Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Assist in menu planning, ensuring a variety of nutritious options are available.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Follow all food safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
- Collaborate with dietary aides and other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional food service.
- Participate in catering events as needed, providing support in meal preparation and serving.
- Utilize knife skills for meal preparation while adhering to safety standards.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and managing waste.
Skills
- Proven experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service within the food industry.
