We are seeking an elegant, disciplined, and service-driven Server Assistant to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate thrives in high-end hospitality environments and understands that true service excellence is defined by anticipation, precision, and grace.
Responsibilities
- Support the service team in all aspects of the fine dining sequence of service.
- Assist servers with delivering food, clearing courses, and resetting tables with exacting detail.
- Refill beverages and maintain water service with discretion and attentiveness.
- Communicate effectively with servers, captains, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service.
- Maintain a pristine dining room environment, ensuring all tables and stations are organized and guest-ready.
- Handle all glassware, silverware, and china with care and polish to standard.
- Proactively anticipate guest needs and elevate the dining experience without intrusion.
- Uphold Black Pearl’s grooming, presentation, and confidentiality standards at all times.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of fine dining or upscale restaurant experience preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail, poise, and guest awareness.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of table service, etiquette, and wine service fundamentals a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Must be available for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
