Year Round Experienced Expeditor/Food Runner

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment year round. We are closed until the beginning of February but are eager to add to our team! The Food Runner plays a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and with exceptional service. This promotion requires a passion for hospitality and an eagerness to contribute to a positive dining experience.

Duties

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
• Assist servers by ensuring that all orders are complete before they leave the kitchen.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service and address any special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
• Ensure that all food items are presented according to restaurant standards before serving to guests.
• Provide excellent customer service by being attentive, friendly, and responsive to guest needs.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays of food and beverages.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced staff members.
