What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender FT position at Black Oak Casino?
SUMMARY: Responsible for providing beverage service to all Casino Guests in an efficient, courteous and professional manner, displaying a high standard of guest service.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties: (Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to)
Receives money, makes change, processes credit card transactions, and operates from issued cash bank all within company policy.
Performs duties from various work locations within the casino based on business needs.
Takes and delivers Guest orders.
Provides courteous service.
Abides by all State, Federal, and local liquor regulations pertaining to the serving of alcoholic beverages to Guests.
Cooperates with multiple departments to effectively monitor and control the sale and service of all alcoholic beverages in the area where assigned.
Stocks and cleans work area following proper sanitation controls.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Mandatory Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years old.
High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent highly preferred.
Must complete Food Handler or ServSafe and Responsible Alcohol Service certification or have proof of current certification.
Must be able to lead by example and assist Team Members on assigned shifts.
Must possess ability to communicate and follow directions effectively in English.
Must possess ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment often doing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must have ability to learn and operate a point-of-sale system.
Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.
Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test.
Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
Physical Demands:
Must be physically able to perform all job requirements.
Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and occasionally more with assistance.
Work Environment:
Must be able to work in a non-smoke free environment.
Must be able to work in a noisy environment.
Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and special events.
Salary : $17
