Turnback Creek Barista FT

SUMMARY: Responsible for preparation and service for all Espresso Bar food and beverage menu items. Responsible for the daily set-up and break down of this work area; maintaining it in a neat and sanitary condition. Maintains the highest standards of menu item preparation following standard recipes to assure consistency of all beverages served.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties: (Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to)

• Prepares and serves all food and beverages in the Espresso Bar.
• Follows approved recipes for the preparation of beverages to assure consistency while maintaining portion control and quality standards.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper sanitation of the work area and equipment.
• Performs routine equipment cleaning and standard daily cleaning/maintenance as needed to keep the equipment in good working order.
• Prepares requisitions for supplies as needed to keep the station properly stocked and ready for business.
• Enter orders in the point-of-sale system, handles cash and completes transactions.
• Provides courteous Guests Service and adheres to Guest Service Standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must complete Food Handler or ServSafe and Responsible Alcohol Service certification or have proof of current certification.
• Cash-handling experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate and follow directions effectively.
• Must have ability to learn and operate point-of-sale system.
• Must possess a cooperative and friendly nature.
• Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test.
• Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.
• Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate proficiently in English.

Physical Demands:

• Must be physically able to perform all job requirements.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and occasionally more with assistance.

Work Environment:

• Must be able to work in a non-smoke free environment.
• Must be able to work in a noisy environment.
• Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events.
