Food Runner Busser

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner Busser to join our dynamic restaurant team. In this role, you will support the service staff by delivering food to guests, clearing tables, and ensuring a clean and welcoming dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of food safety standards. Responsibilities

• Deliver prepared food promptly from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are maintained
• Clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare for new guests
• Assist servers with bussing duties, including refilling beverages and replenishing supplies as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including wiping down tables and chairs after guests depart
• Support food preparation tasks when necessary, such as setting up stations or assisting in the kitchen
• Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing when required
• Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures to ensure guest safety and compliance with health regulations
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service flow
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs courteously and professionally

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, banquet, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and basic food preparation techniques
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with bussing, serving, or culinary roles is advantageous
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
• Hospitality or hotel experience is beneficial but not mandatory
• Basic understanding of food safety practices and guest services principles

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
