We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner Busser to join our dynamic restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Deliver prepared food promptly from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are maintained
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare for new guests
- Assist servers with bussing duties, including refilling beverages and replenishing supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including wiping down tables and chairs after guests depart
- Support food preparation tasks when necessary, such as setting up stations or assisting in the kitchen
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing when required
- Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures to ensure guest safety and compliance with health regulations
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service flow
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs courteously and professionally
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, banquet, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and basic food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with bussing, serving, or culinary roles is advantageous
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
- Hospitality or hotel experience is beneficial but not mandatory
- Basic understanding of food safety practices and guest services principles
