Position Overview
We are seeking compassionate, dedicated Residential Coaches to provide mentorship, supervision, and support to students in our residential program. This role is ideal for individuals who are student-centered, empathetic, and excited to make a difference.
Responsibilities
- Support students through daily routines, academic activities, and personal development goals.
- Lead or assist with recreational, service-learning, and adventure-based programs.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and emotional support to help students meet therapeutic and educational goals.
- Prepare simple meals and assist with light cleaning and residential tasks.
- Maintain a safe, supportive environment in both residential and campus settings.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure continuity of care and positive student outcomes.
Shifts Available
- Weekday Afternoon/Evening: 3:30 PM – 10:30 PM (11:30am-10:30pm on Fridays)
- Weekend Shifts: 8:30 AM – 10:30 PM
Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older.
- Empathetic, reliable, and enthusiastic with strong communication skills.
- Student-centered mindset and a desire to work with neurodiverse youth.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a therapeutic residential school environment.
- Previous experience in behavioral health, mental health, or residential education is a plus but not required.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening (including THC) and background check.
Pay & Benefits
- Starting at $19.00/hour (depending on experience; discussed during interview).
- Therapeutic training provided—no prior experience required.
