Black Men Coalition is on a mission to foster and develop a safe and inclusive environment for Black men in Dane County. We aim to build a vertically integrated system of employment, transportation, financial literacy, housing, and support services. Our goal is to work beyond the traditional and often inadequate existing systems to provide comprehensive support and opportunities.
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Certified Public Accountant based in Madison, WI. The Certified Public Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing tax preparation, and performing accounting and finance-related tasks. The role includes analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance with regulations, preparing budgets, and offering financial advice to the organization.
- Certified Public Accounting (CPA) credentials
- Strong skills in Financial Statements and Tax Preparation
- Proficiency in Accounting and Finance
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Experience with non-profit organizations is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
