Responsibilities

• Assist servers by bussing tables promptly and efficiently, ensuring a clean and inviting dining area for guests.
• Support food running duties by delivering dishes from the kitchen to tables accurately and swiftly.
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas, including clearing tables, cleaning surfaces, and properly handling food safety and hygiene standards.
• Help with food preparation and setup in the kitchen as needed, following proper food handling procedures.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, dishes, or equipment using safe lifting practices to prevent injury.
• Support in maintaining restaurant cleanliness through sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to uphold health standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members using POS (Point of Sale) systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure smooth service flow.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices.
• Strong communication skills and excellent in-person customer service abilities to create welcoming guest interactions.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations including bussing, serving, and food running enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
• Prior banquet experience or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
