What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Black Lake Bible Camp?
WORK CONTEXT / BACKGROUND:
Black Lake Bible Camp and Conference Center (BLBC) was established in 1946. Its mission is be used by God to transform lives through Faith in Jesus Christ. BLBC is organized for the purpose of operating a Christian ministry through the providing of camping activities, conference facilities, and ministry programs. The programs provided by BLBC include spiritual education, Christian training, evangelism and missions.
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The purpose of the Maintenance Tech is to help with the overall upkeep of the facilities. This includes boosting curb appeal as well as maintaining and repairing buildings and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Full engagement and commitment to the staff of Black Lake Bible Camp.
- Demonstrate a servant leadership approach to direct report staff by facilitating environment for spiritual formation of and Core Values.
- Will complete all work orders assigned in a timely manner
- Tasks performed will include painting, drywall repair, plumbing, appliance repair, general construction, and all other maintenance duties assigned by manager
- Lead and support activities that will enrich and develop mutual growth in Christ with the BLBC Staff.
- Participate in professional development.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager
Qualifications
- 2 years experiences a Maintenance Tech or general construction or similar experience
- High school diploma or GED
Salary : $18 - $27
