Armed Patrol Supervisor

Black Knight Patrol is a full service private security company looking for RELIABLE and competent ARMED Security Officers with a professional disposition and appearance to control and maintain a safe environment while providing protection and excellent customer service in the South Bay/Inglewood Area. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or any other criminal activity. Our security officers must be well-trained in surveillance and de-escalation when dealing with perpetrators. The ideal candidate will demonstrate disciplined attendance, confidence, respect, and authority, as well as possess a high level of both observation and professionalism. Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people into properties
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the premises
• Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations
• Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
• Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
• Provide assistance to people in need
• Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before arrival of authorities
• Submit daily reports of surveillance activity and incidents

Qualifications

• Prior security officer or guard experience
• Previous customer service
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
• Report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems
• Trained in CPR/ First Aid
• Current BSIS Guard Card
• Current and Valid Firearms Permit
• High School diploma or equivalent GED required
• Valid Driver License
• Must speak fluent English; other languages a plus

Physical Demands

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to run
• Full function range of motion in all major body joints including reaching, twisting, bending, simple and power gripping, fine and gross motor skills
• Exposure to various weather conditions, confined spaces, and wet, dirty surfaces and walkways
