Role Overview
The Business Development Representative will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and supporting strategic growth initiatives. This is a ground-floor opportunity to join a startup where your impact will directly shape the company’s trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in water and wastewater construction markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with municipalities, utilities, contractors, and engineering firms
- Develop and execute outreach strategies to expand market presence
- Track and report on business development activities, pipeline growth, and market trends
- Represent the company with professionalism and technical credibility in client meetings and industry events
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or client relations (construction or infrastructure industry preferred)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and create opportunities without heavy direction
- Entrepreneurial mindset with resilience and adaptability in a startup environment
- Familiarity and existing relationships within water/wastewater & construction industry are a strong plus.
