The Black Horse Pike Regional School District has an opening for a Vice-Principal's Secretary at Triton for the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge of current computer software and office equipment.
  • Good communication skills in dealing with pupils, parents, school staff, and the public in general.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Good organizational skills.

REPORTS TO: Principal/Vice Principal

JOB GOAL: Perform office duties to the best of your ability, and be knowledgeable in all matters pertaining to your office/department

Performance Responsibilities

  • Compose and handle routine correspondence as directed.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Student related responsibilities may include some or all of the following:
  • Daily attendance, attendance reports, lateness, early dismissals and weekly letters to parents regarding attendance issues.
  • Maintain reports for students who are losing or have lost credit.
  • Prepare and maintain activity and sports eligibility reports.
  • Prepare and maintain discipline records, correspondence to parents, probation lists and SSDS reports.
  • Homework requests for students out of school for prolonged illness, suspension and Restorative Program as needed.
  • Record/collect student fines, notifying parents through mailings and All calls regularly.
  • Assist in the organization of students for Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
  • Student permission lists for AUP, video, photo, internet, directory usage, breathalyzer, updating as necessary.
  • Enter Detention Monitors into Google Calendar monthly.
  • Run detention reports, prepare attendance sheets in a shared Google file and follow up with detention attendance daily.
  • Send Detention Reminders daily.
  • Assist students with dress code violations.
  • Prepare list for and send discipline calls daily.
  • General office responsibilities, including but not limited to, answering phones, scheduling meetings, email, copying, faxing, scanning, laminating, filing, internet research, , assist VP with various tasks.
  • Assist Administrators with Key Assignments per Management Plan such as:

Academic Awards Breakfast

Teacher Appreciation Week

Large events, such as: Sr. Trip, Sr. Prom, Jr. Prom and Graduation

Educator of the Year

Student Planner

Kaplan registration and collection of payments

Creating promotional material for various ceremonies throughout the school year

Eighth Grade Open House

Spotlight Create and send Google form to teachers and students for nominations monthly and prepare and coordinate spotlight breakfast for students, parents and staff

Activities Calendar and contact list

Prepare bulk mailings for large events, such as, Back to School Night, New Student Orientation

Assist students and parents with Parent Access questions and issues

Blood Drive

Virtual bulletin board, Website, digital calendar of events

Credit Completion

  • Other responsibilities may include some or all of the following:
  • Maintain Use of Facilities Log and Reports and Online Calendar
  • Input all Outside Use of Facilities in ML Schedules and collect appropriate paperwork and send to Board for final approval.
  • Positive parent interaction, teacher interaction.
  • Prepare Fire Drill Reports.
  • Prepare/Assign/Maintain Parking Lists for students and faculty.
  • Prepare/Maintain Locker List.
  • Process Free & Reduced lunches.
  • Track/Create Birthday list for staff and students.
  • School calendar.
  • Maintain emergency contact lists.
  • Run Truancy reports.
  • Distribution and Collection of Chromebooks and entering all fines assigned.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Salary commensurate with experience listed on the District Salary Guide - $39,000 - $77,611.
