What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stocker position at Black Hills Works?
Wage: $17.75 with paid benefits
Hours: Tuesday through Saturday primarily working from 5:00pm to 1:30am
Position Summary:
Perform shelf stocking functions as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Must be 18 year or older
- Must have High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to pass drug test.
- Ability to pass criminal background test.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to bend and stoop
- Lift and/or move up to 30-50 lbs (with assistance as needed) such as cases of food items
- Push or pull items such as carts and equipment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Stock shelves after merchandise is received.
- Block items on shelves.
- Perform various cleaning tasks including, but not limited to, dusting, wiping shelving and sweeping.
- Follow schedules and attendance procedures.
- Complete time sheet daily and submit by Monday a.m.
- Attend monthly safety meetings as well as other meetings when applicable.
- Follow all store guidelines and safety procedures.
- Provide customer assistance as needed.
