Black Hills Special Services Cooperative (BHSSC) is a public entity that is an educational cooperative under the State of South Dakota. BHSSC is comprised of five divisions dedicated to aiding school districts, individuals, and the communities.

$24.00 per hour

Job Description-
- Conduct outreach and recruitment activities to connect eligible participants with NFJP services and meet program goals.
- Complete participant intake, eligibility determination, enrollment, and required documentation.
- Provide ongoing case management, career counseling, and individualized support to enrolled participants.
- Develop and monitor Individual Employment Plans (IEPs) and vocational goals with participants.
- Identify barriers to employment and connect participants to community resources and support services.
- Assist participants with job readiness activities including resumes, cover letters, and employment preparation.
- Coordinate referrals to employment, training, educational opportunities, and workforce partners.
- Maintain accurate records and enter required participant and program data into agency systems.
- Build and maintain relationships with community agencies, employers, educational institutions, and workforce partners.
- Participate in meetings, outreach events, professional development, and program training as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications-
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Four (4) years of experience in case management, workforce development, human services, education, or a related field preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse populations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage documentation and multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data tracking systems.
- Valid South Dakota Driver's License.
