Black Gold Sports Cards is looking for an organized, detail-oriented eBay Marketplace & Consignment Assistant to help turn incoming cards into accurate, professional listings and keep our consignment process running smoothly.
This is a hands-on role working with sports cards, online sales, and inventory. You’ll help prepare cards for listing, research important details, and keep items organized from intake through sale. If you enjoy the hobby and take pride in getting the details right, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain eBay listings with clear titles, accurate item details, and complete descriptions.
- Identify players, years, sets, card numbers, parallels, serial numbering, autographs, and grading information.
- Photograph cards clearly, capturing important details and visible condition issues.
- Research recent sold listings and comparable cards to support pricing decisions.
- Assist with consignment intake, documenting each item and its owner accurately.
- Track consigned cards through listing, sale, and fulfillment, maintaining organized inventory and sales records.
- Label, store, and handle cards carefully so items can be located quickly.
- Assist with buyer and consignor questions, escalating issues when needed.
- Support order preparation by pulling and verifying sold items and helping with packing and shipping.
- Review listings for accuracy and flag missing information before they go live.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfort using computers, spreadsheets, and online marketplaces.
- Clear written communication and a professional approach to customer service.
- Ability to work independently, follow established processes, and maintain accuracy during repetitive tasks.
- Careful handling of collectibles and respect for customer property.
- Interest in sports cards and willingness to learn.
Experience selling on eBay, identifying sports cards, managing inventory, or working with consignment is a plus. Familiarity with card variations, grading labels, and researching comparable sales is especially helpful.
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
