Winch Truck Operator

Black Gold Energy Service, LLC is seeking experienced and safety-focused Winch Truck Operators to join our team in the oilfield and energy sector. We specialize in rig moving, equipment hauling, and day-to-day oilfield operations, prioritizing safety, efficiency, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate winch trucks and related equipment to load, unload, transport, and secure heavy freight, including rig components, specialized vehicles, and oilfield equipment across job sites.
• Safely secure and handle loads using proper techniques and tools to prevent damage and ensure compliance during transit.
• Perform route-specific deliveries and rig moves while adhering to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety standards.
• Conduct routine pre- and post-shift inspections of trucks, winches, and equipment to maintain optimal condition.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, cargo documentation, and communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members on schedules, issues, and site needs.
• Assist with loading/unloading using appropriate equipment (e.g., forklifts when certified) and support other oilfield tasks as required.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean motor vehicle report.
• Proven experience in truck driving, preferably in rig moving, oilfield operations, tractor-trailer, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off, or similar heavy-haul environments.
• Proficiency operating manual transmission trucks and winch systems.
• Strong knowledge of load securing techniques, freight handling, and oilfield safety procedures.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to perform basic vehicle/equipment checks and troubleshooting.
• Physical capability to handle heavy loads and demanding fieldwork.
• Ability to understand, follow, and uphold all company policies and procedures.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
