Job Overview
Black Gold Energy Service, LLC is seeking a an experienced CDL Class A Side Dump Truck Operator. In this role, you will operate side dump trucks to transport and deliver materials across various sites, ensuring timely and safe deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Operate side dump safely operate and maneuver side dump trailers in oilfield/construction environments (on-road and off-road conditions).
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers, ensuring compliance with federal construction safety regulations and vehicle maintenance standards.
- Assist with the maintenance of construction machinery including loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, water trucks, and tankers to ensure optimal performance.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other heavy equipment operators to facilitate smooth material delivery and site operations.
- Follow all safety regulations and protocols related to heavy equipment operation..
- Support other activities such as backhoe operation, loader handling, or grader operation as needed on-site.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, inspections, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 1–2 years of verifiable commercial truck driving experience, preferably with side dump, end dump, belly dump, or similar heavy-haul trailers
- Oilfield or energy services experience (rig moving, equipment hauling, frac sand, aggregate, or similar bulk materials)
- Experience with side dump trailer operation, including proper loading/unloading, tarp handling, and hydraulic systems
- Familiarity with DOT regulations, hours-of-service logs (ELD), pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and vehicle maintenance
- Winch truck, heavy-haul, or oversize load experience is a plus for rig-moving operations
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
