What are the responsibilities and job description for the Performance Marketing Manager (Google Ads) position at Black Forest Supplements?
We’re looking for a high-level Google Ads Manager to own and scale our paid search engine.This is not a “set up campaigns and report back” role. We need someone who understands:
- Customer acquisition economics
- LTV vs CAC dynamics
- Attribution complexity
- Conversion rate leverage
- Scaling without breaking profitability
We’re a fast-growing e-commerce brand doing multi-7 figures per month, and Google is a major growth lever. We’re looking for someone who can turn it into a predictable, scalable acquisition channel.
What You’ll Own
- Full ownership of Google Ads (Search, PMax, YouTube, Display)
- Campaign structure strategy & rebuilds when necessary
- Keyword expansion competitor conquesting
- Creative testing strategy (in collaboration with creative team)
- Landing page alignment & CRO insights
- Budget allocation & scaling decisions
- ROAS / MER tracking & reporting
- Agency-level testing frameworks
- Weekly performance breakdowns with clear next steps
You won’t just “manage ads.”
You’ll build a scalable acquisition machine.
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years managing Google Ads for e-commerce brands
- Experience managing $50k–$500k monthly budgets
- Strong understanding of:
- Attribution models
- Conversion tracking (GA4, GTM)
- Feed optimization
- PMax scaling
- Proven history of scaling accounts profitably
- Comfortable making budget decisions independently
- Data-driven and analytical (not emotional about campaigns)
- Clear communicator — numbers must translate to strategy
