What are the responsibilities and job description for the Theatre Associate position at Black Fedora Comedy Mystery Theatre?
The Black Fedora is looking for a friendly and self-motivated associate to keep our fun little theatre running during the day and to wait tables during our clean, family-friendly comedy mystery shows. You would have one to two opening shifts a week (11am-3:30pm) and one to two wait staff shifts per week (7pm to 10:30pm). Day shift pay is $15/hour, and wait shifts are $8/hour plus tips (guaranteed minimum $40 per show). Parking included.
For the day shifts, most important is greeting potential guests who walk through our door and selling tickets over the phone and in person. But also important is prepping and cleaning the theatre (including small kitchen and bathrooms) for the evening show. For the wait shifts, you work with one other waiter to take orders for appetizers, drinks, and desserts, prepare and deliver the food, and run the register before the show and during intermission.
