Transport Driver

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and compassionate Part-Time Medical Transportation Driver to provide safe and dependable transportation for clients traveling to and from medical appointments, day programs, and other authorized destinations.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to work with individuals who may have mobility limitations or require additional assistance.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to and from medical appointments and authorized destinations.
• Assist clients with entering and exiting the vehicle when needed.
• Maintain a professional, respectful, and compassionate attitude with clients.
• Follow assigned transportation schedules and routes.
• Ensure clients arrive at appointments safely and on time.
• Complete required trip logs and transportation documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle.
• Communicate professionally with clients, caregivers, facilities, and company staff.
• Report any incidents, delays, accidents, or client concerns promptly.
• Follow all company policies and applicable transportation requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida driver's license.
• Clean and acceptable driving record.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to pass required FDLE background screening.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients and caregivers.
• Previous experience transporting elderly, disabled, or medical clients is preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
• Must be dependable, punctual, patient, and professional.Physical Requirements
• Ability to assist clients with entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Ability to remain seated and drive for extended periods.
• Ability to provide basic physical assistance when appropriate and within company guidelines.
