Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an MWD Shop Technician based in Conroe, TX. The MWD Shop Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing MWD tools and associated equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring that all tools and machinery are operating efficiently. Day-to-day tasks will include performing inspections, operating and testing equipment, and adhering to safety and operational standards. Clear and effective communication with team members and supervisors will also be essential.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Maintenance & Repair of MWD tools and related equipment
- Experience with string tools, including operation and inspection
- Strong Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues promptly
- Competency in Forklift Operation is preferred
- Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or vocational training is a plus
- Prior experience in oilfield equipment maintenance is advantageous with Rime, Erdos Miller, Vertex, Tensor, Benchtree, Polaris, Digidrill.
